Although I had no luck today, Dave Hutchinson connected with two NORTHERN WHEATEARS and two WHINCHATS on Pitstone Hill yesterday afternoon, one of the latter depicted above. It was very quiet there today with little of note outside of resident birds such as 2 Red Kite, 3 Skylark, Yellowhammer, 5+ Linnets, 10 Goldfinch and 5 post-breeding Meadow Pipits.
